With the way technology has changed communication with others, even Santa Claus had to get an Internet connection up in the North Pole. Here are some new and fun ways that children are getting in touch with the big man in the red suit via Internet.
Santa Bot
One option available to children is the Santa Bot website. This site is much like any other “bot” site where human interaction is simulated, except this one is specifically referred to as Santa Claus. This website allows for a quick chat with the big man, but lacks a personal touch that can be found through other options.
“Official” Site of Santa Claus
If children wish to connect with Santa through email, look no further than St. Nick’s “official” website. Here you not only send your letters to Mr. Claus (and get a personalized response back), but you can enjoy your favorite Christmas tunes, games, and even learn the physics of how Santa Claus delivers all those toys around the world in a single night.
Letters from the North Pole
If a child is still attached to the traditional Holiday letter, however, there are still options available. One exciting option offered through the United States Postal Service (USPS) is “Letters From Santa” in which parents can send self-addressed stamped envelopes from the “North Pole” to their children. More information on the program can be found here.
No matter how children choose to get in touch with the big man in the red suit, it is important to keep the spirit of the Holiday season alive and well. Whether it is through a hand-written letter or a few plunks on the keyboard.
